last 18 years. Having done it all from TV to film to books, he truly is a renaissance man. Ed was the first voice heard on Power 105.1 when the station flipped the switch in 2002. Ed switched up on
NYC and moved to afternoons in 2005; he currently holds down mornings on The Ed Lover Show!

Our first Annual Rochester Extravaganza
Come out and participate in the lilac bowling tournament. As you know every year there is a summer tournament held in Rochester New York, this tournament is getting bigger and bigger. Well this year it’s going to be bigger with the Underground! Our group will be participating in all four tournaments. The team event, the singles and doubles events and the newly singles no - tap event. We will be hosting a weekend filled of fun not just bowling. With the Underground you get bowling and social gatherings. We will host our very own pool and card parties we have control of the hotels recreation room for our personal use. We will be staying at the Marriott hotel of Rochester and we will provide all the transportation. All you have to do is make your deposit to reserve your spot.
When: June 11th – 13th
Time: Bus leaves Queens at 6:00am sharp Friday June 11th from J.I.B. lanes
$325.00 takes care of all your bowling expenses, hotel stay, social events and transportation. (This is based on double occupancy) Single occupancy will be an additional $55.00

A non refundable deposit of $100.00 is due: March 1st 2010
Four additional payments of $56.00 is due every three weeks after your deposit is made. Payments go as follows 3/22, 4/12, 5/03 and 5/24 no exceptions.

Now through my travels I have been asked… “How can my crew become a part of The
U.B.A.? How can my crew go up against one of the U.B.A. teams?” It’s simple really. But first and foremost you have to understand that The U.B.A. is a semi-professional organization and we take our
bowling very seriously. We recommend that you (and most of your bowlers) have at least a 160 average or higher. (We don’t want to see you go against another U.B.A. Bowler and get your feelings hurt.
It’s been known to happen.) We currently have over 100 active bowlers throughout the New York and New Jersey area and our numbers are growing each day. We encourage clubs and or teams from other
parts of the country to join as well. But please keep in mind…we are not going to bowl against guys who do not have the same respect or share the same passion for our sport. When we come out to bowl
we come out correct. All of our teams have professional logos and we wear (what we call) Bowling Jerseys. In order to compete against one of our clubs or to become an official U.B.A. team you must
have an official U.B.A. Logo and each team member must have an official U.B.A. Bowling Jersey. The cameras are always out when there is an U.B.A. sanctioned event. With this being the case we have to
make sure that each team is represented, looks good and is on the same page.

becoming a U.B.A. Bowler please refer to our By Laws.
